SAVING JESSICA MOVIE?
The dramatic rescue of US prisoner of war Jessica Lynch in Iraq could become America's next blockbuster, reports say.

Two US networks, NBC and CBS, are said to be involved in a battle to secure the official rights to Lynch's story.

"This story is Mission: Impossible, but it's real," an NBC source told Daily Variety.

Jessica, 19, was captured by Iraqi forces after her unit was ambushed near Nasiriyah.

She was later rescued by US special forces in a mission said to be ordered by US General Tommy Franks.

"It's as good a story as you can get from this war - it's uplifting, heroic, compelling and dramatic," the source said.

"You see this sort of thing in spy movies and wonder if it's really true. Now we know it is true," the source added.
